他賣掉所有的一切，買了那塊地

默觀：我們都有在沙灘上撿拾貝殼的經驗，當我們手中握有一個自己認為還不錯的貝殼，但是當我們看到另一個貝殼，比我手中貝殼還要漂亮時，我們就會再撿起來，開始猶豫，到底要選擇那一個？直到手中貝殼已經裝不下了，此時，我們才會用刪去法，把手中的貝殼認為相對不好地丟掉，剩下的裝入袋中。今天耶穌講天國的比喻，當商人找到一顆心目中的完美珍珠，他就立刻將所有的一切賣掉，買了它。我真的非常佩服這位商人，心中斷定再也沒有比手上這個珍珠更完美的珍珠了，因此決定用自己所有的一切，來換取它。若我們沒有先開始挑選貝殼，讓自己慢慢感受自己對貝殼的偏好，我們是很難做抉擇的。我們跟天主的關係也是一樣，必須從小事情開始，逐漸發展與天主之間的關係，而且天主永遠是隱藏的，必須靠著相信繼續與天主交往，相信有多深，我們的信賴就會有多深，直到我們在每件事情能夠分辨清楚祂的旨意，並且相信依靠祂是最好的選擇。

Silent Observation: We all have the experience of picking up shells on the beach. When we have a shell in our hands that we think is pretty good, but when we see another shell that is even more beautiful than the one we have in our hands, we will pick it up again and start to hesitate, which one should we choose? Until we can't fit the shells in our hands anymore, then we will use the deletion method to throw away the shells in our hands that we think are not good enough, and put the rest into a bag. In Jesus' parable of the Kingdom of Heaven today, when the merchant found the perfect pearl of his heart, he immediately sold everything and bought it. I really admire this merchant who decided in his heart that there was no pearl more perfect than the one in his hand, so he decided to trade everything he had for it. It would be very difficult to make a choice if we did not start by selecting shells and letting ourselves feel our preference for them. The same is true for our relationship with God. We must start with small things and gradually develop our relationship with God, and God is always hidden. We must continue to deal with God by trusting Him, and the deeper our trust, the deeper our trust will be, until we can discern His will clearly in everything and believe that relying on Him is the best choice.

讀經一（以色列子民一看見梅瑟，都害怕接近他。）
出谷紀　34:29-35
梅瑟從西乃山下來的時候，手中拿著兩塊約版；他下山的時候，未發覺自己的臉皮，因同上主談過話而發光。亞郎和全以色列子民一看見他的臉皮發光，都害怕接近他。梅瑟召呼他們過來，亞郎和全會眾的首領才敢回到他跟前，梅瑟就同他們談了話。以後全以色列子民也來到他跟前，他把上主在西乃山上同他所說的一切，都吩咐了他們。梅瑟向他們講完話，就用首帕蒙上自己的臉。幾時梅瑟到上主台前去同他談話，就揭去首帕，直到出來的時候；他出來後，就對以色列子民講明上主吩咐他的事，以色列子民觀看梅瑟的臉，見梅瑟的臉皮發光。以後梅瑟再用首帕蒙上自己的臉，直到再去同上主談話。
